Preparing a guest list is not as easy as pulling out a pad and starting writing names. Typical the bride and groom and parents at both sides will have their lists and then put the lists together. Then it will be the time to consolidate it. One simple rule to remove people from the list will be asking yourself whether you will feel sorry if you bump into someone on the street and tell the person you are married but you didn’t invite him or her to the wedding party. If not, then probably that person doesn’t have to stay on the list.

There are some fixed charges regardless of the number of people invited, such as location rental fees, music, photography, videography, and etc. Other items like flowers, drinks, food and invitation cards will depend on the size of the guest list. You may ask the catering agent about the cost per head. Keep in mind, it would be nice to invite everyone you know but it would be more difficult to coordinate the events and schedules and more expensive to have more people to come.
